I typically keep all three date fields the same, as would be the case with a camera generated, unedited photo. Why not allow all tags to be entered, then validated as a batch when saving? Another handy feature that should be added is the ability to copy data from one tag to another - specifically the date fields (there are three of them). The extra step of having to validate each and every tags as it is entered is time consuming and tedious. It is not obvious as to how to get the tags to "stick". I would not advise editing too many photos before processing, converting, overwriting, or saving. All of that is pretty good, as many reviewers have also reported. I wish there was a preset for IPTC Caption, date, keyword, and location. I could not create a preset for a location.įor Photos, the IPTC Captions is the same as the descriptions in Photos. It has presets that l could use for several of the features, for example, camera, good. I have scanned in a number of old photos and I wanted to enter dates, places, keywords, and captions. I’m not a pro photographer, so some (many) of the features are unimportant to me. Subscription Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
